Instant Pot Steamed Artichoke
1 artichoke (medium/large)
1 1/2 cup water
*Can add garlic, lemon, herbs to water to enhance flavor of artichoke*
Cut 3/4 inch off of top of artichoke and the bottom stem.
Add water to Instant Pot along with optional lemon/garlic/herbs. Then, place the steaming basket in the Instant Pot with the artichoke in the basket. Place the lid on top and secure it, making sure the valve at the top is turned to 'Seal'. Pressure cook your artichoke for 16-20 mins depending on how large your artichoke is (more time for larger artichoke, less for smaller). Once finished, release the steam immediately by adjusting the valve on top.
