Alanna's Everyday Salad
Every. Single. Day.
1/4 head of iceberg, shredded
6 cherry tomatoes, quartered
1 diced medium size beet
1 cup thinly sliced fennel
1/2 cup thinly sliced and halved cucumber
1/4 cup alfalfa sprouts
1/2 diced avocado
3 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
3 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
1/4 cup chopped basil
Fun/optional toppers that I love:
Sun-dried tomatoes
Olive tapenade
Chopped dill pickle
My go-to dressing is my Caper Chive Vinaigrette or a simple mix of a glug of good Greek Olive Oil, salt, and pepper.
For thinly slicing ingredients quickly, I swear by my mandolin!
